Yet another World Record for Powerball

The above is an actual quote from Senior Pro Golfer Karl that he made just after breaking yet another World Record and becoming the first person in history to drop a golf ball onto the green of an 860yard hole in just 2 shots! (Televised live - Crondon Park Golf Club, UK, Sept '02)
That's a mind numbing achievement by any standards, but one which was made all the more amazing by the fact that Karl is in his fifties and used a regular golf club and ball in the attempt! (Makser Driver / 45" shaft - Pinnacle ball)
(Think about that for a second - 860yards in just 2 shots... wind was from left to right and even better... it was 860yard's to the pin - Karl actually ran it about 10ft off the back of the green!)
Even more impressive is that Karl has broken at least 8 world golf drive distance records over the past few years and is currently listed in the Guinness book of records for golf's longest carry with a drive of over 408 yards on the fly. (Televised live and recorded at sea level using standard golf equipment). He is simply getting longer and hitting them further the older he gets.
He's 52 years old. He weighs about 160lbs. He stands 6'1". So he's not too different from the rest of us. And he can blast a golf ball over 400 yards through the air ('on the fly' - from the point of strike to the exact point where it hits the ground for the first time.)
And yes - he has a good golf swing.
But then so has Tiger Woods. And over 1,000,000 other golfers worldwide...
And they can't hit the ball over 430 yards (it wasn't an isolated instance - Karl regularly blasts them past the 400 mark). And some, who are taller, younger and physically bigger... and who have nicer swings... can't even manage 300 yards...
